My year in grade 6 was awesome. I will mention a few things but there are many more great things other than what I will mention.

The first is Play days and sports. Play days is Basketball. IN basketball we won 3rd place and beat two schools. I was and still proud of our team. Sports included Baseball, Hockey, Soccer and Kick ball. All of these were really good. Luckily next year i will have the same teacher (Mr. Dorland) and we will hopefully play all these sports again.

The next awesome thing is that our class got 1:1 Mac Books that most classes don't get. We have our own computers. We use them for everything. Such as this blog was made on the computer that I always use.

One other cool thing is "Clayton Idol". Clayton Idol is like American Idol but for our school. The two reasons it was so fun were that for my first time ever I was one of the sound people for it. Another reason is that my little brother preformed and won the primary section. Those are my top 3 reasons for liking this year. ( other than Camp Jubilee witch you can see my blogs for bellow). Tha

At Camp Jubilee I had so much fun. The activities we did where Shelter building, Kayaking,  Archery, High ropes, Rock climbing, and Voyager canoeing. My favourite was probably
the Archery or High Ropes. My least favourite was probably
the Voyager canoeing. Archery was my favourite because I have always loved and also we played the " Utensils Game".
The Utensils Game is a game to gain your Utensils for dinner. The way it works is you hit a certain target or an area of a target to get your utensils. I got all of my utensils.
Voyager was my least favourite because Some people did not paddle. Only select people paddled and I was one of them.
I slept in cabin 11. My cabin mates where Kyle, Howard witch are both in my class. The rest of my cabin mates were Jake, Moses, Steven, Colton, and Kaleb.
The meals were great. The picture above is an ariel view of Camp Jubilee. The staff that helped us were: Nick, Emily, Georga, Cole, and sam. Overall my stay was great!  #CampJubileeRocks!

On Monday may 26 the grade 6 and 7 are going to Camp Jubilee. I am very excited about going for many reasons. But I am also nervous about some things. Let start with the things i am  nervous about being away from my parents for a while and we  are going on a water taxi for about 30 minutes and i'm kind of nervous if the boat will tip or something because i'm not a great swimmer. But mainly  i'm nervous about being far away from my parents for a while. Also i'm nervous about the wild things in the forests.

Things I am excited about is Everything! But mostly the cabins and the archery. I've been doing archery with my friend in the green space outside my house with his archery set.  So overall I wish it would come faster.

fish

Yesterday we got a fish in the class. Now you must be asking yourself why I am telling you this. I am telling you this because I used to have 2 fish tanks. One was 10 gallons and one 30 gallons. In the 30 gallon one I had 5 small sharks. In the 10 gallon one I had about 12 small fish. I love fish, they are the second favourite pet I want to get. All of my old fish died 8 years ago. Fish are amazing and are fun and easy to take care of. In class we have one Male Betta fish. It is blue and we named it blue. Earlier it looked a bit unhappy with the tank. But now with the heater and filter it seams super happy and comfy in the tank. It is swimming and playing with itself. I am happy for the fish and I am happy we get to have it in the class.
Mr. Dorland, our teacher let us name and choose a type of fish we might have in the tank.
I chose a Serpae tetra and I named it Jerry. Today we also got to give names for they Male Betta.
Some names I gave are: Kelp, Yo, Fin, Boby .Jr, Jaime and many more. The male Betta is in a 10 gallon tank with some seaweed, a rock and rocks and shells. There is a filter and a water warmer.
The sound the filter makes when water comes out is relaxing and sometimes makes you want to go to the bathroom.
Now that I remember how nice having a fish is I will ask for one on my next birthday. ANother thing I like about fish is the smell of the fish tank. That might sound weird but its true. As I am writing this blog I am watching the fish swim around. I am also listening to the sort of water fall type sound which is very calming. Thank you for reading this blog and I hope you enjoyed and think of getting a fish yourself.
